FlowMads™ is a two-sided marketplace connecting yoga studios with verified traveling yoga teachers for substitute teaching. Studio owners post open class slots, verified FlowMads™ teachers apply, and the studio selects who they want. Payment is handled automatically through Stripe.

Posting classes and browsing teacher profiles is always free for studios. FlowMads™ charges a 5% platform fee on the teacher's pay — deducted automatically after each class. No subscriptions, no setup fees, no surprises.

Most studios confirm a sub within the hour. Once you post, verified teachers in your area are notified immediately and can apply within minutes.

Every FlowMad™ submits their RYT certification and a Certificate of Insurance (minimum $250,000 coverage) for review. Documents are parsed automatically and the name on the certificate is checked against the registered account. Verified teachers carry a badge on their profile. Unverified teachers do not appear in search results.

Yes. When posting a class you can specify a minimum certification level (RYT-200 or RYT-500). Only teachers who meet that requirement will be able to apply.

Yes. Every FlowMad™ profile shows ratings from all studios they've previously taught at through the platform. Ratings are tied to verified completed classes — they can't be fabricated.

Every confirmed class has a backup teacher queue. If your confirmed sub cancels, the backup system activates automatically and contacts the next available qualified teacher. Our guarantee extends to 4 hours before class. If we cannot find coverage, you receive a full refund.

A no-show triggers an immediate full refund to the studio. The teacher's account is flagged and a strike notch is logged. Repeated no-shows result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Yes. If you cancel with less than 4 hours notice, the teacher receives 100% of their agreed pay. If you cancel with more notice, the teacher receives 50% of their pay — calculated and transferred automatically. See our cancellation policy for full details.

When you confirm a teacher, payment is held in escrow through Stripe. After the class is completed, funds are automatically released to the teacher. No invoices, no Venmo, no manual transfers.

Yes — completely free to sign up, build your profile, and apply to classes. FlowMads™ takes a 5% platform fee from your pay when a class is confirmed and completed. There are no upfront costs.

You need to upload a valid Yoga Alliance RYT certification (RYT-200 or higher) and a Certificate of Insurance with a minimum $250,000 coverage. We review both documents and aim to verify your profile within 24 hours.

Yes — that's exactly what FlowMads™ is built for. Your profile is live nationwide. Studios in any city can find you. Update your location in your profile when you're traveling and you'll appear in local results.

Browse open classes, tap Apply, and optionally write a short message to the studio. Your verified profile does most of the work. The studio reviews applicants and approves the teacher they want.

Yes. The pay rate is always displayed on the class listing before you apply. You'll also see the class style, duration, date, time, and any certification requirements.

Use the Transfer feature first — you can pass the class to another vetted FlowMad™ without any strike logged. If you cannot find a replacement and need to cancel, use the Cancel button. Cancellations trigger the backup system and log a strike notch toward your record.

Once the studio confirms the class is complete, payment is automatically released to your connected account through Stripe. No invoices, no follow-ups, no waiting.

You're protected. If a studio cancels less than 4 hours before class, you receive 100% of your agreed pay. If they cancel with more notice, you receive 50% — transferred automatically. See our cancellation policy for full details.

A strike notch is logged every time FlowMads™ has to find coverage because you cancelled without providing your own replacement. Every 3 notches equals 1 strike. Strike 1 is a 30-day ban, Strike 2 is 60 days, Strike 3 is permanent removal. Successfully transferring a class never counts as a strike.

Yes — completely free. Creating a student account and browsing studios and teachers costs nothing. You can book directly through FlowMads™ with no booking fees.

Browse verified yoga studios and teachers in your city or anywhere you travel. See full profiles, certifications, ratings, and styles. Connect directly with studios and teachers through the platform.

Yes. Browse studios and open classes in any city FlowMads™ operates in. Teachers with a FlowMads™ profile are verified and available nationwide.

Every teacher on FlowMads™ has submitted their RYT certification and insurance for review. Verified teachers carry a badge. You can also see ratings from every studio they've previously taught at — real ratings from verified completed classes.

If a teacher change occurs for any reason, you'll receive an immediate notification with the new teacher's full profile. You'll always know who is teaching before you show up.

HostGuru™ is our space rental service for studios and practitioners. It operates separately from the FlowMads™ student experience and does not affect your class discovery or bookings.
